💼 UK Financial Controller

We are looking for an experienced UK Financial Controller to join Arise, one of Sweden’s leading independent renewable energy developers. You will play a key role in managing and developing our UK-based solar and renewable energy projects as our portfolio continues to grow.

🔍 Your Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting for ~8 legal entities
• Payroll for 8 employees
• Financial statements and regulatory filings
• Annual audit coordination
• Cash flow and liquidity monitoring
• Monthly financial reporting
• UK banking liaison
• Internal controls and financial governance
• Tax compliance and financial regulation adherence
• Integration of acquired entities
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting M&A due diligence in the UK
• Reporting to HQ in Sweden
• Admin systems management (XLedger, Expensify, Monday.com, TravelPerk)

✅ Your Profile

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and a team player
• Strong communication and structured working style
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in UK financial/accounting roles within international settings
• Detail-oriented and proactive
• Proficient in MS Office and financial reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; ACCA qualification preferred
• Based in South or Midlands England with flexibility for occasional office visits
