💼 UK Development Project Manager

Are you passionate about renewable energy and looking for a chance to play a key role in the development of large-scale onshore wind power projects? At Arise, we are expanding our project management team and are searching for a dynamic and driven Development Project Manager for Onshore Wind to join us in delivering the next generation of sustainable energy solutions. 🔍 Your Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of onshore wind power projects, from early-stage feasibility through to construction and handover to operations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and local partners, ensuring deliverables are met according to project timelines and budgets.
• Identify and evaluate suitable sites for wind farm development, manage permitting processes, and ensure compliance with environmental, grid connection, and health & safety standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local communities, permitting authorities, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare, track, and report on project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and progress to senior management.
• Support contract negotiations, procurement activities, and provide input to financial models and investment decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and support the expansion of Arise’s onshore wind portfolio.

✅ Your Profile

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field.
• Experience (minimum 3 years) managing or developing onshore wind, solar, or large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Proven ability to deliver technical projects to time, budget, and quality standards.
• Solid understanding of permitting processes, grid integration, and environmental requirements for wind projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); proficiency in Scandinavian languages is an advantage.
• Strong administrative skills and fluency with MS Office, particularly Excel and project management tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
